About Barbados: A Brief Introduction

Barbados is an island country located in the Caribbean region of North America and a part of West Indies.

A former British Colony, Barbados gained independence on November 30, 1966, getting English as its official language in the form of British heritage.

Barbados is a small but beautiful country with a population of about 300,000 constituting people of different ethnic groups following different religions. Human Development of Index of Barbados is 0.8, which is 58th highest in the world.

Thanks to its natural beauty and calm atmosphere, Barbados is a leading tourist destination in the entire Caribbean region and a well-developed country. Each year, tens of thousands of people from countries like the USA, Canada, UK, and other countries worldwide visit Barbados to take time off from their life of hustle and spend some days in the relaxing environment of this island country.
